Longstone School is involved in a number of Extended Schools Projects in conjunction with the other 4 Dundonald schools – namely Familyworks in-school counselling which continues to have a positive  impact on the well-being of our pupils, the French Programme which brings language and culture instruction to some of our primary-aged pupils (and which will culminate in a Celebration Day in May at Longstone), as well as the annual Dundonald Schools Sports Event in June, which brings together pupils from all of the different school settings, mainstream and special, for a day of physical activity and fun.
